New York, NY (Fall, 2005) – Nooka Watch Designs reveals the second generation of its innovative timepiece series, furthering its mission to reinvent the modern experience of time.

Drawing upon an instinctual sense of time, the watches push design and functionality forward by exploring time's most basic elements. Nooka structures the presentation of time in a way that highlights the most important information, creating a heightened more natural awareness of time.

The watches are made of stainless steel with a backlit LCD display, leather strap in a variety of eye-catching colors, and stainless steel buckles. The watch body measures 35x35x9mm in size, with a wide unisex wristband. Nooka watches are waterproof up to 50 ATM's (150 feet in salt water).

Created by award winning artist and designer Matthew Waldman, Nooka burst onto the scene in early 2005 and was named finalist to the Genart Awards.
